And we've found a design outfit that does concrete with aplomb.

POPconcrete is the collaboration of design duo – brothers Sami and Jouni Jarvela. From their Brisbane-based studio, they have launched a lustworthy collection of concrete furniture and homewares.

The brothers masterfully harness the raw beauty of concrete, while exploring its marriage with other materials such as timber and metal. At times, they choose to express the raw texture of each material, and other times they flood it in unapologetic pops of bright colour. The result is a collection of industrial yet refined, confident pieces.

Featured here teamed with The March Collective's 'Neon Person' canvas artwork, are POPconcrete's BOKSI chair, ISTU bench seat, POPular pendant, RAW concrete fruit bowl and coffee table.
