We are completely coveting every piece from designer, Bianca Batstone's lustworthy label, Ruby Phyllis.
The label was established over a decade ago with the launch of 'Invisible Threads' singlet tops which had philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche's quote "Invisible threads are the strongest ties" hand-painted across them and barely-there shoulder straps. Not surprisingly, the Australian designer soon saw her iconic tops adorn the likes of Christy Turlington, Sarah Murdoch and Kylie Minogue.
Ruby Phyllis has since explored yet another signature style, the Gossamer range of vintage fabrics wrapped in gold threads to form whimsical cords that are then handcrafted into glorious one-off pieces such as bangles and handbags, or even the little girl's fanciful Gossamer tiara headdress shown here.
Bianca also has a habit of unearthing a treasure trove of vintage finds such as the 1970's little girl's tutu seen here. Each piece is resurrected in the Ruby Phyllis Gossamer style with other delicate decorative detail to grant it a new lease on life as an heirloom-worthy wearable outfit, or else a gorgeous piece to hang on a child's wall and appreciated for the work of art that it is.

We were thrilled when stylist and blogger, Simone Barter from style.life.home asked to borrow TMC's artwork, White Pineapple, for a photo shoot for the bespoke furniture design duo, Tim and Sally of Green Cathedral, based in Noosa.
We drooled when we saw the shots, featuring Green Cathedral's Babanees Bench. On closer inspection of the brand, we unearthed a feast of gorgeous furniture pieces. Benches, tables and stools are made from beachy-toned timber, then hit with a pop of paint in black and white, soft pastels or brighter, punchier hues. We then cast our eyes over the Mini Babanees range of tables and stools. Awww.
Do yourself a favour and explore the Babanees range online if you haven't already spotted it in stores in Noosa, Brisbane and Melbourne, or else pop over to the style.life.home blog to see Simone's beautifully styled images.
